Gamepad recommended: use the left stick to move and A / Cross to dash.

Keyboard: move with WASD or arrow keys. Press Space to dash.

Team up with your past selves: each loop adds a ghost that repeats your movements and attacks. They help clear targets—but their dashes can hurt you, too.

Your best teammate is your past self. They might also ram straight into you.

Too Many Loops is a top-down arcade action puzzler built around short time loops. Your ship is your weapon: line up your approach, dash through targets, and dodge the arena’s hazards.

Every loop leaves an echo of your actions behind. While your past selves handle familiar targets, you can push further and tackle the next stage. Completing tasks activates new targets and hazards, so each loop gives you more help—and more chaos to navigate.

A good route becomes a head start for your next attempt. A reckless dash might become your next problem.

Plan one loop ahead. You’ll have to fly through the consequences.

I’d love to hear what you think.
I’m an experienced game developer taking my first steps into solo development, and I’m still figuring out how far to take Too Many Loops. If you’ve played it, I’d love to know what you enjoyed, what frustrated you, and what you’d like to see next.
And an honest question: would you buy a fuller version of this game on Steam? What price would feel fair, and how much content—levels, ships, or hours of play—would you expect for that price?
It’s completely fine if your answer is “not for me.” I’d rather hear your honest thoughts. Leave a comment below, and thanks for giving my game a try!
